PROUT AT WORK TOGATHERING: Stronger together

Employee networks are an essential component of a vibrant corporate culture. They create spaces for exchange, mutual support and shared learning – across departmental and hierarchical boundaries. Their contribution is particularly valuable when they do not operate in isolation, but instead create synergies between different groups. This is exactly what the TOGATHERING – think. talk. change. which took place on March 26, 2025 at Microsoft Deutschland GmbH in Munich.

Focus on networking and collaboration

The event brought together representatives from various networks, including Families, Women, Disability and Multicultural from Microsoft. The aim was to find out how different networks can cooperate with each other to increase their impact. There was a particular focus on the connections to the queer network:

• What thematic interfaces are there?
• How can common interests and goals be actively shaped?
• What specific opportunities for cooperation are there?
• How do companies benefit from closer cooperation between the networks?

Impulses, discussions and new perspectives

Numerous ideas were developed in an interactive exchange that can have an impact beyond the event. It became particularly clear that cooperation between different networks not only strengthens individual work, but also promotes innovation and diversity in the corporate culture in the long term.

Together instead of next to each other

TOGATHERING showed how much potential there is in networking employee networks. Cross-divisional exchange makes it possible to better overcome common challenges, develop new solutions and create a corporate culture in which every voice counts. An inspiring evening that made it clear: diversity is strongest when it is shaped together.
