Workshop for people interested in founding a company with Businettes founder Claire Siegert

Learn how to get your business idea off the ground at the workshop – especially if you are just starting out.

In a 4-hour interactive workshop, Businettes co-founder Claire Siegert (Get to know the founder at our meet & eat on 16.11.2024! More info here) will guide you through the first steps of founding a startup. At the end of the workshop, you will give your first elevator pitch and present your business idea.

Thanks to a cross-institutional collaboration between Hof University of Applied Sciences, the business development agencies of Hofer Land and the Einstein1 digital start-up center, this workshop is free of charge for you! Workshop Agenda

Workshop introduction and division into groups (10 minutes)

Mindset: Lay the most important building block (30 minutes)

Growth Mindset, Positive Affirmations, Positive Selftalk. Worksheet: Interactive exercise to develop positive affirmations.

Why? Define your business idea precisely (45 minutes)

Problem solving & value proposition, target group, business model, positioning & competition. Worksheet: Elaboration of all points.

Let’s get started: Design your MVP (30 minutes)

Important to be able to get started after the workshop: a minimal viable product. Challenge: You have €500 and 30 days to develop your MVP – start with the concept!

Break (30 minutes)

Visibility – Have the courage! (45 minutes)

Pitch training (40 minutes)

Pitching on stage?! Yes, you can! Elevator pitch training orally, without slides. With worksheet on pitch conception.

Maximum number of participants: 60 people, the workshop is aimed at all interested parties. Both university members and external persons are welcome!

The workshop is free of charge! However, registration is necessary for organizational reasons.
