#werdeberaterin – your entry event with McKinsey
You want to gain practical experience during your studies, are looking for an entry-level job or are planning a career change? Secure your internship or permanent start in 2022 at the entry event with McKinsey. Apply by May 9.
What awaits you?
Whether as an intern or a permanent team member: At McKinsey, you not only advise clients from different industries, you also work in teams that combine different study backgrounds. From economists to physicists to theater scholars to lawyers, different perspectives broaden horizons and lead to the best solutions for clients.
McKinsey is convinced that only when you can truly be yourself will you realize your full potential. For this reason, McKinsey is looking for people who can bring their own perspective to the solution finding process and then work together as a team to achieve the best possible result. That’s why an internship or permanent position at McKinsey gives you the opportunity to either try out different areas or to specialize in an area that particularly fascinates you.
Course of the event
Preparation program and networking in Frankfurt
In the first part of the event, you will prepare for your interviews together with McKinsey colleagues from recruiting and consulting, learn important details about your interviews in an interview training session, and receive helpful tips and tricks. At the get-together afterwards, you will have the opportunity to get to know the McKinsey team and the other participants better.
Virtual interview and problem solving game
The next step is your first interview via Zoom. Another program item in this phase is the problem-solving game “Solve”. Here you can show in a playful way how you approach and solve problems, as it might correspond to your task at McKinsey.
Apply by May 9 for the entry event. You can apply for an internship or for a permanent position with the following documents:
- tabular resume
- Copies of all certificates (Abitur, Vordiplom and, if applicable, Diplom or Bachelor and Master)
- References to internships and extracurricular activities
A cover letter is not required. In your application, you can specify your preferred location in Germany or Austria and also what suits you best: starting out as a generalist or in a specific specialist area.
