#1: More “Women in Tech” and how to make it happen
When new disruptive technologies are developed or digital innovations change our working and living environments, women have rarely been involved: Women make up only about 17% of the IT industry in Germany. Not only is a large potential workforce going unused, but from a diversity and equality perspective, more women should be working in technology.
Why there are so few women in the technical field and what companies can do to increase diversity in the workplace – that’s what Güncem Campagna talks about in her talk. The evening will be moderated by Silke Roggermann.
Afterwards, there will be plenty of time for questions and open discussion.
The venue is the Wacom Experience Center Düsseldorf, Zollhof 13, 40221 Düsseldorf, Germany.
