Female Empowerment made in OWL

In order to support women interested in starting a business, we at garage33, in cooperation with the Center for Entrepreneurship at Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences and the OWL University of Applied Sciences, have launched the “Woman up” series. Together with the Einfach.Machen.Gründen Stammtisch and the HerCentury network, we want to encourage and network female founders and interested women with this cooperation event.

Female Empowerment – Networking Evening

You have already founded or are about to start your own start-up or business? Or are you still not sure if foundation is something for you? Then come to our network meeting.

Non-profit initiatives and organizations that promote the professional and personal development of women present themselves on site. Whether it’s self-employment, founding a start-up or a corporate career, supporting migrant women on their arrival in Germany: we want to show you the variety of offers in Ostwestfalen-Lippe.

In a relaxed atmosphere, you should get to know the different people behind the initiatives and feel the strength and support that exists in OWL and be motivated to use it.

Be there, be inspired and make contacts with founders and women interested in founding a company. Cool drinks will be provided. We look forward to seeing you!

What? After a brief welcome and introductions, a panel discussion will follow on the topic of. Female Empowerment made in OWL. Afterwards you can get to know the participating organizations and initiatives at a small fair. We will end the evening with casual networking.

Who? For all women who are interested in founding a company, are looking for inspiration or have already founded one.

*Womanup: As part of the initiative, garage33 (University of Paderborn), together with the CFE of the Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences and the OWL University of Applied Sciences, offers all female founders and interested parties the opportunity to learn from each other and to network.

*Simply.Make.Start: Under the motto “Einfach machen – finden, gründen, glücklich sein” (“Simply do it – find, found, be happy”), female founders, people interested in founding and entrepreneurs meet once a month to inspire, motivate and exchange ideas. There are no stupid questions here, but many open ears and a network that supports you on your start-up adventure.

*HerCenturyGermany e.V. is an international network of strong women and supports women in their personal and professional development by organizing trainings and workshops on topics such as career, health, new technologies or soft skills.
