New work, visibility & AI: why you shouldn’t let critics stop you

Being visible on LinkedIn attracts attention – and with it, headwinds. But especially in times of New Work, AI and digital change, it’s worth going your own way. Between triggers, envy and progress: how to keep your style, use AI as a partner and stay confident.

New work and visibility: more than just a LinkedIn trend

New Work has long been more than just a buzzword. It is changing how we work and think – and how we present ourselves. Those who are visible on social networks such as LinkedIn with attitude and content attract people. Support. Inspiration. But also criticism. Sometimes openly, sometimes subliminally.

More range, more friction

The formula is simple: the more visible you become, the louder the echo. With praise comes doubt. With appreciation comes competition. And with every bold thought there is someone who takes offense. This is nothing new – but it is more intense than ever in the digital public sphere.

Criticism is human – and often a mirror

Many people who trigger or react with envy do not do so out of malice. But out of insecurity. Change is unsettling. Those who work with AI, develop themselves further, use tools wisely or break new ground in marketing remind others of what they are not (yet) doing. That is also human. But no reason to let it slow you down.

AI as a sparring partner – without getting lost

Artificial intelligence is not hype. It is here to stay. If you use it wisely, you can reflect on content, sharpen ideas and test formulations. Without giving up on themselves. You need clarity of style, your own attitude – and the courage to use tools as support. Not as a substitute for personality, but as an extension.

Your style. Your way. Your decision.

There is no “right” way for marketing or visibility. Whether you post daily or once a month, whether you use AI or design by hand – the decisive factor is: it has to suit you. Your message. Your energy. Your values.

Conclusion

Don’t let yourself be stopped. Not by comments, not by envy, not by old thought patterns. You can think out loud, use AI, show yourself – and remain completely yourself. Anyone who criticizes you for this is often talking more about themselves than about you.
