Womenize! – 10th anniversary edition

Focus of the event

The anniversary edition of Womenize! offers a diverse programme of talks, workshops and networking opportunities for all those who are committed to diversity and equality in the games, tech and digital industries.

The aim of the event is to make women and underrepresented groups in the industry visible, strengthen their perspectives and create space for exchange and further training.

The event is aimed at professionals of all levels of experience – from career starters to management level – as well as supporters who want to actively promote an inclusive work culture. Participation is open to people of all genders.

Program highlights

Womenize! will feature inspiring specialist presentations, practice-oriented workshops and moderated networking formats. The announced speakers include, among others:

Focus on allyship: “Bring an Ally” ticket

The “Bring an Ally” ticket specifically encourages the participation of allies, especially cis-male supporters. Participants receive a 25% discount when purchasing two or more tickets.

The offer is intended to help open up conversations about equality, share responsibility and deepen understanding of structural challenges.

The role of Allies

Allies are seen as active learners and supporters. Their role is to

• Taking the challenges of marginalized groups seriously

• to stand up for fair structures

• reflect on their own position and make targeted use of it for greater participation

Conditions of participation and notes

• The focus is on respectful, constructive exchange.

• The event sees itself as a safe space for women and marginalized groups.

• Allies are welcome, but not as dominant voices, but as accompanying supporters.
