WOMEN IN FOOTBALL SUMMIT
With Bianca Rech, Nicole Kumpis and Franziska Wülle: SUMMIT FOR MORE WOMEN IN FOOTBALL “Get more women interested in soccer as a career!” – that is the goal of the WOMEN IN FOOTBALL SUMMIT, which will take place for the first time on September 18, 2024.
With this initiative, the German Football Association, the DFL German Football League, the VfB Stuttgart Bildungsakademie and the International Football Institute want to inspire more women to enter the soccer profession, give them an insight into the soccer business, show them career paths and offer them the opportunity to network.
Among others, Bianca Rech (Director of FC Bayern Munich Women), Nicole Kumpis (President of Eintracht Braunschweig), Frank Kübler (Partner of SYNK GROUP GmbH & Co. KG and CEO of Leada AG), Franziska Wülle (Press Officer of the men’s national team), Dr. Marion Mertesacker (Head of Human Resources at the DFL) and other personalities from soccer, business and politics will be on stage to discuss various topics.
At the DFB Campus, participants will be offered various keynotes and panel talks on topics such as the working world of the future and career planning – visibility as a success factor as well as career paths for women in the professional field of soccer.
In addition, everyone will have the opportunity to visit the career fair, meet exciting representatives from the soccer business in person, network and thus develop both personally and professionally.
The event is primarily aimed at women who are interested in working in the soccer business or would like to develop their career in this industry.
