Female Allstar Boardroom Session
With the Female Allstar Board initiative, Handelsblatt and Bain & Company are creating a unique platform for women in management positions. The enrichment of companies through women has been scientifically proven, but is still not a standard practice in many companies. With the Female Allstar Board, we are not only making a statement in the business world, but also for young, committed women in particular: The leaders of tomorrow. Every year, five top female decision-makers in Germany are honored and appointed to the Female Allstar Board (FAB). In addition, a network is created for outstanding female managers – the Female Rising Stars – with the aim of increasing their presence and visibility and thus also diversity in the German economy.
On March 18, we are inviting the current Female Allstar Board 2024 to a joint board meeting. Together, we would like to explore how the award winners are collectively tackling the key challenges on the agenda of German companies. We will discuss the following key topics with the leading female executives:
1: Back from recession – How can growth be stimulated?
How can German companies react strategically to geopolitical uncertainties? What opportunities and risks arise from political and economic changes?
2: The digital race: Using artificial intelligence to drive growth
How can artificial intelligence create tangible added value for companies?
3: Corporate values under pressure
Is Trump’s political orientation also influencing the values of German companies? Are values such as sustainability and diversity becoming less important for companies, and how can they be prioritized despite other pressing issues?
We look forward to examining these questions together with the award winners:
- Susanne Wiegand, former Chairwoman of the Executive Board, RENK Group
- Julia White, Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer, Amazon Web Service
- Sirma Boshnakova, Board Member of Allianz SE in charge of Western & Southern Europe, Allianz Direct and Allianz Partners
